The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the contact was informed that the valve cover, intake manifold and mass air flow sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. 2 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem of the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic

Failure Date: 03/21/2018

At 54,600 miles it was using oil and smooking out the exhaust !! in motion. The intake manifold had a bad check valve and intake had to be replaced ,very common on the 1. 4 turbo engine as I found out by googling this issue ,no update on manifold so this will happen again !!!.
