Car Stall Problems of Chevrolet Spark

On 2/11/19 my car stalled,( shut off )while making a turn at two different times . ( mileage 35,582) I took my car to Chevrolet on 3/22/18 for the same problem. (mileage 22,517) my car had stalled (shut off) at a light and no lights had come on the dash indicating that there was a problem. I was told by the tech no problem found.

Engine loses safe acceleration with air conditioning on, reaches unsafe stall conditions.

The car has been having clutch issues. Shifting into first gear from a stop causes the whole car to shake. This happens after mainly long drives. Driving back from boston MA, there was very heavy traffic which required me to stop and start frequently on the highway. Each time I had to start, the car shook violently and felt as it were going to stall. This makes it impossible to drive safely, as it does this when pulling out into traffic as well. Dealer said this would most likely not be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. The car is new and this should not be an issue. This issue is documented in many online forms as "intermittent clutch shudder" .

When accelerating from a stop, making a left turn into cross traffic with plenty of time, the engine will not accelerate! even with the gas completely pressed it stalls for a good four seconds. I would have been involved in a major accident if it traffic did not slow down for my car to finally rev up, sounding like it's red lining just to get with the flow of traffic.

The vehicle will randomly rev and stall. Took vehicle in to be repair on five occasions dealers drive it for maybe 30 miles and say issue can not be found.

With less than 500 miles on it, vehicle was hesitating intermittently upon acceleration from a stop; occasionally would miss briefly, would not always "shift" unless you took foot off gas; would feel like brake being applied when coasting at low speed; and was getting bad gas mileage. Car was not showing any error codes but mechanic found these issues upon test driving it himself. Dealership replaced pistons, rods, etc. Was told wrong pistons installed at factory. Upon test driving after repairs mechanic found transmission problems (leaking) and found a crack in the housing and an o ring not seated properly. Replaced housing and again test drove and had transmission noise and found metal shavings in pan) and they then replaced entire transmission. Loved the style of this car but am totally disappointed in the quality of this car.

Car stalls will put the pedal to the metal and will not advance. It will start to move slow after a while not reaching full speed. Transmission gear display will be blank in dash console. Car moves at a very high rpm reading. Transmission will kick if set on neutral and then shif to drive. This has happen twice in the short amount of time that we owe the car. The problem is that we have taken the car twice to the dealer but is working fine at such time so they can not detect the problem. First time it happen my wife was at a stop light and when it happen to me I had just started the car. This is a very serious and hazardous situation.
