Abs activates at low speed braking. . . More difficult to stop and scary because unexpected. . . Definitely a safety issue. . The car started having problems fall 2004, brought the car to the dealership for repair. . Problem seem to be fixed. . But recently started having the problem again.

Upon stepping on the brake at low speed anti-lock brakes kicked in, but did not stop. Needed to step on brake several times for the vehicle to stop.

Dealer said over phone that this was fine and did not need to look at car. On June 25, 2002, same problem was experienced on I-95 when trying to avoid another car that cut into lane. Brakes did not respond, I lost control of Suburban, which rolled over and was totaled.
Brakes fade and become spongy with pedal almost going to the floor. Vehicle has been to the dealers numorus times with only a temperory fix.
