3 Headlights problem of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 02/05/2021

Not long after I purchased my Tahoe new I noticed moisture in the headlights, more so on the passenger side. I had the vehicle brought in for an ac recall and the dealer didn't notice or fix the problem. After the warranty expired I started getting accumulating water in the light assembly which would corrode the blinker holder making it inoperable. So I either have to change the blinker holder or replace the entire light assembly. I feel like the dealer should have noticed the issue when it was in the shop for the ac recall.

6 Headlights problem of the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 12/05/2019

I purchased my vehicle2015 chevy Tahoe lt on July 1, 2019 I have had intermittent glitches in the electrical system. The headlights, dash lights, and mylink touchscreen will completely black out and then come back on. However, when this happens the steering wheel locks up for a split second. This is happening while driving, at speeds over 50mph, during the night and day. It was suspected to be the alternator or battery, after replacing the alternator there was no change in the behavior. It continues to happen. The service stabilitrack warning will also pop up after the power is restored. This issue is very dangerous and after reading dozens of forums it's clear this is not an isolated incident. This has happened over and over at least 20 times since July 2019, randomly and completely unexpectedly.

8 Headlights problem of the 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 02/01/2019

Attached is a picture of the condensation in the headlights issue. It just never dries up and has been like this for over 6 months straight. All this water blocks the headlights from working properly and shining correctly. It interferes with the safety of my headlights. I read several blogs of other Tahoe's in this age group of 2015, 2016 that are having this very frustrating issue. I believe it should be a recall as there's no way I should be having to replace headlights for $750 each this soon. It is not safe to drive like this.

17 Headlights problem of the 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 06/14/2010

Poor quality electrical to exterior lamps (brakes/signals/headlights) causes them to go out even when the bulb is still good. Have replaced bulbs in excess of "normal". Safety concern regarding assumption that all lamps are working (especially when recently replaced) only to find out through law enforcement or other motorists that one or multiple lamps are not functioning. Event has occurred multiple times and without warning. Incidental observation of vehicles of similar make/model on the road indicate this is a common problem. Also, conversations with auto parts stores indicate this is a common problem with this vehicle type. Remedied by replacing bulbs and/or re-seating bulb in socket.

1996 Tahoe headlight failure. When flipping the switch to turn o headlights they do not turn on. Spent almost $200 in diagnostic time. The repair shop says the wiring in the steering column is fatigued and frayed most likely due to repeated adjustments with the tilt steering wheel. Very expensive to repair. Using middle position with daytime running lights until I can get it repaired. This is a serious safety issue as the light cut out while I was driving home in the dark. Good thing the drl work.
