Turn Signal Problems of Chevrolet Tahoe

My 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe ltz's headlights have developed condensation inside of them. The driver side light has an inch of standing water in it and now the turn signal and led running light no longer work on that side. Chevrolet said it will cost over $2,000 to replace both headlights. I know several other Tahoe owners that have the same problem and our local police department has also had to replace headlights in several of their patrol Tahoes. Chevy needs to issue a recall on their defective product!!!.

While the vehicle is in motion, and the interior dome lights are off, I press the brake pedal, and the dome lights flicker very intensely for a half-second. This flickering also happens when the left turn signal is activated. It is a very bright flicker and could cause an accident due to momentary distraction or light-blinding.

The left headlight assembly had moisture and the left turn front turn signal quit working causing an error code. The dealer said there was no recall so I had a body shop replace the entire assembly. Approximately 2 months and there is moisture in the new left headlight. This is a safety issue.

Heavy moisture is accumulating in the front left headlight with no cracks in the light. It is causing the left front turn signal to malfunction with a warning on control panel. This is dangerous to driving when making left turns with no front turn signal and will cause an accident eventually to some owners who cannot afford to get it fixed. Chevy will not take ownership of faulty design, part, or system and wants owner of car to assume responsibility for repair costs which are very high on these faulty parts. The extended warranty we purchased does not want to pay for repair either why should the owner who has no control over the installation of defective system have to pay for it ? please help save lives from potential crashes.

Condensation collecting inside of both headlight covers. I have paid $200. 00 for a turn signal replacement. Now getting another failure warning on same headlight and the dlr is out on the opposite side of vehicle. I was told dealer it would cost 2000. 00 to replace both gaskets. Gm has issued service bulletin stating the problem could be caused by the vehicle being exposed to rain?? or car washing. I noticed condensation while parked in garage.

All of the dome lights in my Tahoe flash when I brake or put on the left turn signal. A simple google search shows that this seems to be a fairly common problem with specifically the 2015 Tahoe.

Headlights on driver side keeps water and moisture in it and burns out the signal bulb bought it to two dealer ships and they told me all Tahoe's do that and gm will not warrior so if gm knows about this y don't fit the problem I drive my grandkids around and if it rains and burns the signal bulb out it could cause a accident because my signal bulb burn out and there is no crack in the lens I was driving yesterday and was turning left and almost got hit because the other car taught I was going straight the bulb burn out when I put my blinker on because the information panel told me that my left turn signal was out.

All interior lights that consist of, front dome lights, both rear reading light fixtures that are dual lights that have left and right side lamps flash for a split second each time the left turn signal is used or each time you step on the brake pedal. Very distracting during evening or night time driving. This happens weather the vehicle is stopped stationary or driving.

My 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe's interior lights flash brightly when the brake or left turn signal is applied. It is a very bright flash and extremely distracting at night. It happens while driving. I can imagine it is also very distracting to other drivers at night as well. It happens every time the brake or left turn signal is turned on. Online research indicates other people also have this issue. It happens on all roadways at all times. But specifically at night is the safety concern. My passengers in the rear have also been complaining that it is physically stressful to them when the interior lights flash without them expecting them too.

Interior lights flicker when the left turn signal is or the brakes are applied. This can be extremely startling and dangerous when driving at night.

Every time I press my brake or use my left turn signal, my interior dome lights flash. It is very annoying and a safety issue at night.

I got a message on my message center telling me that my left turn signal had a failure. It would start blinking fast. I took it to a parts store to get a bulb to replace ur but was told that I would have to take it to the dealership. Took it there and was told that the socket had melted and that I would have to replace the assembly. I just read where other owners who have Chevrolet said experienced the same problem.

Air conditioning does not work with only 37000 miles and interior lights flash every time I touch the brake pedal or turn signal.

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. While driving various speeds, the interior lighting flickered when the driver's side turn signal was activated. When the brake pedal was depressed, the interior lighting would also flicker. The vehicle was taken to whiteside Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac (located at 50714 national rd e, st clairsville, OH 43950, (740) 695-0211) where it was diagnosed that the failure was due to an electrical issue. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and provided case number: 8-4804205228. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

Vehicle would not start,needed to jump start. Once running ,climate controls and fan volume would not respond. Heat at 90,fan on full. Engine light flashing on off. Dash lights suddenly dimmed to low. Taken to dealer,had vehicle for 4 days. Dealer replaced battery. One week after battery was replaced,experienced the interior cabin lights would flash when brake pedal was applied. Instrument panel lights suddenly go from bright to dim. At night and day when turn signal activated ,the interior cabin lights flash on as well as when driver applied brake. Very distracting and dangerous in particular when operating at night. Notified dealer,returned vehicle for full diagnostics,had it for one week,no issues found. Picked up vehicle interior cabin lights still flash when brake is applied. Slight movement and clicking on drivers seat only while operating at any speed. Notified dealer. Again to document. Advised I would be filing a safety complaint,since dealer nor gm could not resolve issues. Occured June,July,Aug,Sep,oct, 2016,38000. Miles.

An issue that I have had since the used vehicle was purchased in 2016 superior interior led lighting, however:: activate left turn signal or step on the brakes, these interior bright led cabin lights flash brightly and intermittently. Stopped at an intersection, it's embarrassing, interior led lighting continues to flash as if there was a strobe within the interior cabin, when my foot on brake and or left turn signal. Hazard / 4-way activate the interior lights also. At night distraction for myself as an operator, safety issue- reflection off the windshield during hours of darkness, annoyance to all passengers �disco car� black electrical tape was placed over the mid-cabin interior light, youngest son hates to ride in the vehicle because of the lighting issue. Visible and obvious to other motorists during hours of darkness when stopped aside, front and/or rear of the vehicle. Dealership � $180. 00 to fix, also that a service bulletin exists, advised to wait for re-call - back for re-call approximately 1 year later, service rep stated, still no re-call. I was advised at that time, by the "same" service rep in the service department, at the same dealership, that they, (Chevrolet) are currently un-aware of any such issue with the interior lighting. I have been a police officer for nearly 40 years assigned to traffic division. Re-constructionist, with extensive accident reconstruction training and investigations / 15 years certified through cvsa. Previous unrelated re-call notices, Chevrolet is claiming a cause of �potential customer annoyance�, let me tell you, it's annoying. Recalls again about other unrelated issues, Chevrolet claims to be �concerned about your safety and continued satisfaction with our products� I'm also concerned about my safety as well as my passengers. Numerous complaints in regards to this issue are posted.

When I when to pull out of my drive way 3 or 4 weeks ago I turned on my left turn signal and the four hazards started flashing! it stopped and started back up again and now does it all the time!.

2004 Tahoe lights (headlamp, running and turn signals) explode or burn out repeatedly due to the lens filling with water. Issue has been occurring since vehicle was new. My fault I have never taken it to the dealer, I have just been replacing the bulbs and draining the water. Maybe gm can look at improvements for the next generation of Tahoe.

Consumer claims that turn signals are inoperative. They only work intermittently. Vehicle is no longer under warranty.

Occationally when turn indicator is set to turn to right, all turn indicator lights start to blink (hazard-lights).

Our 2001 Tahoe has had problems with the drivers side lower light assembly for quite a while. It houses the turn signal, clearance light and daytime running light. It constantly fills with water. There are no cracks in the lens and I have dried it out and replaced bulbs on a monthly basis. I noticed that a large majority of chevy trucks, Tahoes and suburbans on the road have one of these lights out also, one side or the other.
