the consumer sated while driving, he noticed a peculiar problem, that became worse on turns, braking and pulling the vehicle to the left. The consumer took the vehicle to his mechanic, who advised him of a recall. When the consumer contacted gm corporate, he was informed the vehicle was out of mileage and was told there was nothing that could be done. The consumer referenced an issue of front suspension corrosion of the lower control arm. The front suspension cross member may not have received adequate corrosion protection.

No accident resulting. Vehicle handling affected as well as braking, car was taken to a repair shop. The front cross-member, right side, where the lower control arm is secured rusted and broke in 2 pieces. Causing loss of control.
