The driver's door master power window switch module got hot & started smoking. Removing and looking at it showed that it caught on fire. It looks like it started somewhere on the circuit board. It seems identical to the problem listed on the 2006 chevy Trailblazers. (NHTSA campaign number: 15v599000) it happened in 2015. I've just been holding onto the part because I didn't know what to do with it & the local dealer wasn't any help.

8 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2014

Saturday night (03/1/14) on our way home it started snowing heavily, the visibility was low and our windows were fogging up and the front heater blower went off on our 2005 chevy Trailblazer and would not come back on. While trying to find a place to safely pull over we almost hit another vehicle because we couldn't see through our fogged up windows. . After we pulled over and turned the car off the blower motor came on and continued to run with the car off and the key removed from the ignition, so we re-started the car, and the blower went off and never came back on. . . Then today I went out started the car to warm up the engine and the blower came on. I drove to the store shut the car off and the blower continued to run so I re-started the car and turned it off again and the blower motor stopped. When I re-entered the car to go home the blower once again would not turn on at any speed. So I figured if I didn't have heat at least I had a heated seat but after about 5-10 mins the seat part of the seat got so hot it was burning my butt and thighs so I had to shut it off. Then about 1/2 home the blower just started blowing again, I pulled into the gas station shut the car off and the blower motor once again continued to run with the car off and the key out of the ignition so again I put the key in started the car then turned it off again and the motor stopped. This could be a very serious issue with not being able to defrost the windshield/windows in these hazardous driving conditions< plus not having heat in below zero temps is a health hazard as well. ( since we live in such a cold snowy state).

First my rear wiper and rear washer stopped working but when you turn the button it sounds like it wants to go. Second my speedometer is all over the board. Sometimes it runs low, sometimes it's higher and at times it just won't move. It has also been off the board pointer down at the prnd321. Third my oil gauge stopped working.

12 Wiper problem

On December 21, 2011 my fuel had a half tank of gas. I went into the store and came out my fuel registered empty light came on. I rushed to the gas station to put more gas in and thought some one stold my gas out of my tank. This happened with the amount of fuel in my tank not registering four times since the first incident. Than on January 01, 2012 my front wind shield wipers will not stop. When I turn off the vehicle they stop, when I turn on the vehicle they continue to wipe my windows until I turn my vehicle off.

13 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 07/05/2006

Passanger air bad light not working and coming on when no passage. Check engine light has been on since 2006. Seat belts in 2nd row seating don't lock. Radio broke 2006 replaced after fixed cd player will not play or eject. Air conditioner only blows out hot air after hundreds dollars to fix it. Both head lights blow out at least every 2 months they need replaced. Drivers side break light n tail light keep blowing went to auto store get more bulbs and the tail light caught on fire employees helped me and said they seen the Trailblazers do it before due to water building up in it and that that's the reason the bulbs blow. Paid out 300$ in tickets cuz of them blowing n not knowing. The hot and cold air in second row don't blow out at all. A bike parked by me and my back window exploded. Windshield vision is cloudy. Gas gauge, speed ad temp gauge stopped working had replaced now battery gauge broke. Only 1, and 2 worked on heat control and 2 vents worked. Bottom of both sides of car rusted 2 years ago. I had it payed of in 3 years and wish these problems were made available before I did. Ive already put thousands of dollars in it and the same thing breaks again and windows in front broke too. My blazer has bee in the garage since January cuz as soon as my husbands gets it out the shop it needs to go right back and we cant afford to fix it nomore I love my blazer and don't want him selling it or trading it in s if you have any advice that would help please tell me. Ive been keeping it hoping to get it fixed again but I also have a disabled grandson and custody of a 2 year old that have apts n thropy 4 times a week and need a car but I love it and cant part with it. Please let me know if there a certain way to fix these problems I can do myself so I can keep it. . Thaks.
