Three problems related to air bag light on have been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
All of sudden my tail gate will not open unless the vehicle is running and I hit the unlock button 5 or more times and then at times that doesn't work also my airbag light starting blinking and now it won't go off. I called about a recall and was told there wasn't one for this problem but on line it showed it was. My case number is 4864379595 I am going threw cancer treatments and need my vehicle please let me know if this is under recall as I can't pay right now to get it fixed.
Takata recall my air bag light was coming on and off. Then it stayed on for good. When I had it inspected. They said it was a sensor located within the steering column. I'm wondering if my vehicle was over looked under this recall and would like to make sure me and my family is safe. I purchased this vehicle used back in July 2017. I never had any accidents in this vehicle. Its awkward for an airbag light to come on. I've been driving gm vehicles for some time and never experienced this.
Not exactly what's going on with my 2007 Trailblazer lt 5. 3, this is an intermittent issue the airbag light comes on on the dash and says airbag fault, it's not every day but most of the time, I'm worried because what if I get into an accident and the air bags never had an issue till now. It only has 134,000 miles, not something I think should go bad, also sounds like I'm not the only one having an issue. Is this a fuse, a sensor? what can cause this to happen I don't like driving around with no airbags.
