Two problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Hit a pot hole in my Trailblazer as and my airbags deployed, I believe it is a safety issue that they deployed without an impact of any kind, body panels are all fine and in good shape but the bump jard the airbag sensor enough that it deployed them. This in my eyes is a huge problem and could be a big risk for someone because the airbags are malfunctioning.
The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer 360. When a passenger is seated in the front passenger seat the airbag warning light indicates that the air bag is turned off. The air bag warning light on the instrument panel also blinks. The vehicle had been to the dealer twice for diagnostic testing and the problem had not been determined. The vehicle is currently at the dealer. The engine size and number of cylinders were unknown. The failure mileage was 1000. The current mileage was 5,622. Updated 02-01-08 updated 02/01/08.
