Fuel Pump problems of the 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer

I will soon be replacing my 3rd fuel pump. You can not purchase a sending unit separately and you can not replace a fuel filter for maintenance. Also the master window switch stopped operating yesterday after a burning smell filled the truck. The master window switch is melted. Had issues with I first bought the truck with it "shutting down" on the highway, no gas, no power steering, no control. Received a year of free oil changes from chevy after a complaint was filed, they still to this day can not tell my why my truck would randomly shut down. . . . . I have a 2007 chevy Trailblazer, for the last year I have been having problems with my SUV wanting to stall. I had my fuel pump/gauges replaced 1 year ago because my fuel gauge did not work at all. I was told that the fuel gauge is read by a portion of the actual fuel pump that is inside my fuel tank. That cost me more than $600 out of my own pocket since they had to remove my fuel tank to replace it. My fuel gauge has been working fairly normal up until yesterday, on my way to work at 6:15am my vehicle stalled in the driving lane of a 2 lane frontage road because I was out of gas. Thankfully, the road was not extremely busy at that time of morning. However, my fuel gauge still showed that I had almost 1/2 tank, when in fact my car stalled because I ran out of gas. I hope that some kind of resolution can be agreed upon with gm to get the problem corrected so that it does not happen in the future.

I have had problem with fuel level sensor on a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer lt,v-8. Does not show fuel level correctly. This was not covered under warranty,but the fuel pump that it is attached to is covered. So, I had to pay out of pocket to fix problem. Feel I should be reimbursed. The only thing the dealership has done was to send me a 10 percent discount on my next repair.
