The contact was unable to determine how much fuel was in the vehicle because the fuel level indicator would provide an inaccurate reading of empty whenever the vehicle was refueled. Both the dealer and manufacturer advised the contact to bring the vehicle in for repairs at her expense. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic who advised her to take the vehicle to the dealer.
