Almost every time I shift from park to drive and take my foot off the brake my car jolts forward a couple feet/inches to take off by itself in a manner that it should not. This has been going on since I got the car brand new and have had it just over a little over a year. I try to be as careful as I can with it and mentioned it to the Chevrolet dealership that does all my maintenance on my car. They are not sure what is causing the issue, but on 05/24/2025 I was attempting to get ready to get gas and needed to pull up slightly a little bit more and when I shifted to drive my car jolted forward and hit another vehicle. No damage was done to the other vehicle or mine, and the gentleman was nice and said it caused no damage for either of us but my car cannot keep doing this. Sometime is not right with it to be constantly jolting forward as soon as I shift to drive and take my foot off the break peddle to go. This could have been a lot worse had a human been in front of me and I do not want that to ever happen.

Check engine light is on. Took to o'reilly and had them put their tester on it to get the codes. Codes show p0700 and p1467. My cruise control and auto start will not work. My mechanic said this is an issue that should be fixed free of charge but no recalls show for my vehicle.

Two times in a month after getting fixed the first time the esc error code pops up and the engine starts running at 1/2 capacity and the steering gets hard to steer. There is also a braking error code that displays. I have had to tow it to the dealership twice now and can not drive it. It is a danger since it will decelerate when in traffic and becomes hard to steer.

Engine power reduced came on after I was driving from a patient’s home. My car started driving very rough. I had to pull over because I was in danger of being hit from behind. I took my car to a mechanic and was diagnosed with the code dtc p2714. I looked online and there are a lot of people having this issue and being put in dangerous situations when we drive. Chevy knows about the issue and has not issued any recalls. Unfortunately for me my vehicle is past the limited warranty so now I have to save up money to get my transmission serviced. I’m never buying american again. I could’ve been really hurt when my engine cut off.
While driving 65-70 mph cruise control will continuously "bog" down and act like it is wanting to cut off the whole vehicle. Transmission is starting to act like it is slipping to the point where I am going all the way to the steering wheel before it catches again. Vehicle is under 36,000 miles and should not be having transmission issues. Radio has been replaced once before but is now doing the same thing where it is not recognizing my phone, directions given to it by touch on screen, and will even completely turn off while in the middle of driving. Will freeze and then act like the screen has 'water' damage. Back up camera is not calibrated correctly. It states that I have more than enough room to make a turn but when looking into my mirrors, it is off by almost a foot and a half. I was in a car accident due to the back up camera malfunction with the difference in distance and with the screen malfunctioning. I have had the vehicle inspected by the chevy dealership multiple times and they have stated that there is nothing coming up on the code reader. The vehicle is available for inspection. My children ride in this vehicle and after the accident, I do not deem it quite safe with the malfunctioning parts. There has not been any lights coming on for the issues but the issues are there.

The car rmp goes high when accelerating it's a common problem with the cooling fan which the company is aware of it but aren't held reliable! it's a shame that NHTSA hade many complaining about the issue but aren't holding the manufacturer responsible this could of hade me and my family in an accident!.

3 times in the last year while we were driving the acceleration wen very high like from 50 to all of a sudden went up to about 80. I had to stand on the brake and try to pull over. Still accelerating I put it in park and shut it off. When you restart it it drive fine again. This has happened three times and the dealership says they can't find a problem. We are stuck driving a death trap. Please help. They wanna charge diagnosis everything I take it in. Then they say they can't find nothing. Now I am finding others that have had same issue and dealership says there is no problem. This has got to be destroying the engine reving at such high speeds.
The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the vehicle experienced unintended acceleration. During the failure the vehicle accelerated to speeds in excess of 100 mph. Additionally, during the failure the brake pedal was depressed however, the vehicle did not slow down or stop. . +electrical system. Have read this speedometer issue can also cause other malfunctions on instrument panel such as cruise control issues. . +driving a car with a broken or faulty speedometer is very dangerous. Not only can it put you in danger, but it can also jeopardize the safety of your passengers, and other drivers and pedestrians on the road. As for the law, you can also be ticketed for operating a vehicle with a broken speedometer, which can cost you fines and court fees, and even risk suspending your drivers’ license. . +my mechanic has not had the chance to look at it yet as he isn't open till Monday. . +no other warnings were given prior to failure.

When driving you can only go up to 30 miles an hour, and rpms go very high and vehicle does not go anywhere.
There's a problem after braking which causes a few second delay when accelerating from a slow speed, supposedly part of the stabilitrak/abs system caused by a faulty sensor. I have almost had a couple of accidents because of this when waiting to turn in a left turn lane.
My 2008 Trailblazer powers down and traction control light comes on acceleration I feel this is dangerous to cars behind me.
Accelerating on it's own and idling.

Speedometer first showed speed of 60 when sitting still. I turned off the engine, restarting it 3 times and the speedometer reset. But a few days later it once again stuck and I had just started it. This time at 48 at all times whether the engine is on or off, idling of traveling. It continues to be stuck at 48 at all times, never decreasing or increasing.

Driving in city speedomoter quit working properly. Dont know what speed is while driving car has 33000 miles, has not been driven in 3 years as it was my fathers and he no longer drives as he is 97 years old.
Instrument panel cluster doesn't work and I don't even know my speed.
When driving for 30 to 45 mins all the instruments on dash start sticking and reading wrong information. In the picture my car is parked .
The engine lights come on, then the car starts chugging and shuddering and sounds and feels as if it will shit down. I am not able to accelerate. This is a serious safety risk in traffic, especially if driving on the interstate. The car will not move at anything over 20 mph, if it even accelerates at all. I usually end up coasting to the side of the road and shutting the engine down. I let it sit and turn it back on and it may or may not let me go again.

I can't tell if my tank is full or empty.
Multiple gauges on the instrument panel are malfunctioning. The tachometer is reading 5,000 rpm when the vehicle was in park, and 7,000 rpm when going 15 mph. When I turn the car off the gauge sits at 2,000. The speedometer is clicking up (not a smooth transition to the correct speed). And it showing a lesser speed then I am going. When I turn the car off the speedometer shows it is going 10 miles per hour but will slowly drop down to zero. Both of these malfunctions could are a huge safety concern. I had to pull over on the highway while the instrument panel was showing 7,000 rpm, afraid I was going to break down and ruin my car.
Rpm, gas, and voltage meter are not reading properly at all. Everywhere u go everytime u start the truck up it does not read properly.
Gear shift locked into the parked position while vehicle still moving and in drive. Brake pedal also locked. My autistic son was in the vehicle with me. Gm knows about this issue as far back as 2002 . Do they care about the impact ? I am the 3rd owner ,bought this vehicle because of safety rating and that it has less than 92000 miles on it. I have owned it for 5 years.
Vehicle was serviced for a faulty fuel level float sensor, which was registering that there was no fuel in the gas tank when the tank was full. 7 days later, while driving on a busy freeway, all of the gauges on the gauge cluster started spinning out of control and the vehicle lost complete power while driving 65 mph. I had to merege across 4 lanes on the freeway in heavy traffic and nearly got run over. No power to the engine at all - it just died while I was driving. Of course, onstar and the Chevrolet dealer that performed all of the service on the vehicle were no help. While waiting for onstar, my vehicle was towed off the freeway.
Faulty gauges. Gauges sometimes work, sometimes don't. When not working, service engine light comes on first and then nothing works on dash panel except signal lights. When it does work, normal startup of lights. Being the odometer is digital, no way of knowing how many miles I have gone which goes hand in hand with gas gauge not working so not a clue how much I have.
Car will not accelerate. Revs up really high without acceleration.
The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer. While driving approximately 10 mph, the vehicle decelerated independently and the reduce engine power warning light illuminated. The vehicle was restarted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the throttle body needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 160,000.
The speedometer has become unreliable; it sticks / jerks while driving after which it does not display an accurate speed. I¿ve had my speedometer read 30mph while completely stopped. It has a greater tendency to stick around 50-60mph. Repeatedly starting the engine, causing the speedometer to go through its reset cycle will move the needle back to 0mph in approximately 5mph increments for every start. This only provides a bit of reliability for short trips.
The speedometer doesnt work.
Tl-the contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated while driving 45 mph the vehicle slows down and also stalls without warning then it begins to accelerate without any assistance. The vehicle was taken to the independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the oxygen sensors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 109,870. Ng.
When I make left or right turns the truck shuts off all the gauges read as normal except for the rpm's I loose power stearing and cannot exelerate it does not happen at an spacific time or place it is just random so I do not know when it may do this some days nothing happens other days it happens 2-4 times and it is a bit scarey when you are making a left turn especial I am not sure what this is or what is causing it but this I have had the battery and the alternater checked and other components checked out but they could not find anything and of course while the dealer had it did not do it so I am not sure but this is deffentley something that needs to be looked into like I say when I make turns I lose power , loose my stearing and the ablity to accelerate and all gauges read normal except the rpm's they are the only one that go down to zero.
The airbags will show that they're not enabled even with a passenger sitting in the seat. Then it would come on as being on but no passenger in seat. A lot of sensors have popped up in the electrical panel, on top of that the car kinda shut down on me and started going 10 miles per hour, as I was going out in traffic.
