Tire Blowout Problems of Chevrolet Venture

I bought 4 pep boys definity tires w road hasard total was 424. 58 on 9/10/201. Mileage was152156. . Yesterday 9/1/2011 ihad a blow out on l rear tire. The mileage was158180. They told me it would be pro rated,only 6,000 miles and it cost me 41. 52 for another tire. It couldnt be fixed. What was the road hazzard for? ps they offered me a oil change as a settelment. I told them no thanks!.

We were driving down the street in port allegheny, PA about 25 miles per hour, when our rear firestone tire blew out. Our vehicle had just over 6,000 miles on it. There did not appear to be anything in the street to cause the problem. I contacted gmac and firestone, but neither suggested any recall of our tires. I am concerned about the safety issue and future blowouts at higher speeds. Since firestone refused to comply with the stated warranty, I purchased a competitor's brand at a slightly higher price.

While driving 50 mph rear passenger tire blew out. Consumer managed to pullover, and changed the tire. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem. Firestone, 21570r15 , dot#w2m3.
