On four separate occasions my 2013 Chrysler 200 shut off on me while driving. It appeared as if the engine was not getting any gas. When I tried to start the vehicle it sounded like it wanted to start but no gas was getting to the engine. I. Had the vehicle towed to the shop put my vehicle on the computer and no issues was revealed. Each time that it shut off I had a full tank of gas to 3/4 of gas. I had to wait 45-60 minutes before the car would start again. On 3oct2019 I was driving home from work traveling 65 mph when the vehicle shut down on me on the interstate. Tl-he contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the gas tanking was leaking. The contact smelled fumes and the engine stalls and loses power while driving. The dealer and manufacturer had not been contacted yet. The failure mileage was 100,000. Tf.
The car stalls and shuts off any time the gas tank is filled up. The type of gas does not prevent the situation. The only way to avoid the issue is to not fill the tank completely. It doesn't happen right away 100% of the time. It's happened after I've pulled away from the gas pump and reentered the highway. When this happens, I have to place vehicle in park and restart it. Again this is 100% of the time when I fill my gas tank. Today, I was almost hit by oncoming traffic when my car stalled. I"m very afraid. I'm using today's date but this has been a reoccurring problem.
Tl the contact owns a 2013 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the fuel tank was leaking fuel. When the tank was full, fuel leaked out down the side of the vehicle. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was determined that the vehicle was not safe to drive and that fuel was leaking underneath the vehicle. The dealer was not notified and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 58,600.
Gas coming out from top of the full tank. The car was parked.
The gas needle on my car is stuck or just not working. I can fill the tank and it still says it's almost empty and it skips.

Ever since I purchased this vehicle in July, 2017, the check engine light keeps coming on with the message "gascap" showing on the odometer. I have taken it to be checked numerous times, and no one can figure out what the problem is. I've also replaced the gascap three times. I don't see where the vehicle was brought in in 2013 on the car fax report for fuel tank problem recall. Can you please help me? I never received a recall notice for this since I just bought the car in 2017.
