The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler 300. While driving 30 mph, it was extremely difficult to shift the vehicle into first gear. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the radiator failed and caused antifreeze to enter the transmission. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 36,000.
