At cold start, for fifteen to twenty seconds, engine revs from 500 to 1500 rpms, several times and almost cuts out. 1st visit: sensors checked at dealership; 2nd visit: throttle body replaced; 3rd visit: computer reprogrammed; 4th visit: map sensor replaced. Problem still persists. We are getting really irritated.

2 Engine problem

Failure Date: 07/21/2006

Stared idling rough and at lower rpms. Dealer said on two occasions it was the fuel type I was using. Was never informed of this either during the sale or in writing (I. E. Vehicle manuals). The third trip to the dealer I was informed they needed to disassemble to top half of the engine and rebuild it.

This new car was purchased by me in 01/06 and the problem became apparent within the first 30 days. Dealer told me that nothing can be done unless a trouble light came on. V6 engine. At idle the engine misses and the care loses continuously while at idle.
