1 Ignition Switch problem

Failure Date: 02/06/2018

Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at 35 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to coast to the side of the road. The contact powered off the engine. The vehicle was able to restart after numerous attempted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the ignition switch and key needed to be replaced. The vehicle was later taken to perry Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram dealership located at 2340 national city, CA 91950 (619) 477-1234 but was not diagnosed or repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact the vehicle was not included in recall and referred the contact to NHTSA. The approximate failure mileage was 212,885. Aw.
