The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that someone hacked into the vehicle's computer system. While driving, the vehicle decelerated abruptly numerous times. Also, the battery failed numerous times and could not be charged. The contact thought that the failure was due to a manufacturer defect. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer where it was diagnosed that the battery be replaced. The battery was replaced a total of three times, but the failures persisted. The contact disconnected the battery and brought it inside his home in order to start the vehicle the following day. However, the contact stated that the hackers were currently disabling the battery system. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 25,000.
