The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while the driver attempted to drive the vehicle, the battery saver mode, the anti skid control and abs warning light illuminated on the instrument panel then un-illuminated. The contact also stated that there was a clicking sound coming from behind the glove box, also a burning electrical odor was coming from under the hood while the vehicle was parked. The vehicle was then driven to the contacts residence and when attempting to turn the vehicle on, the vehicle failed to start. In addition, the contact stated that when the vehicle was parked in the driveway, the strong odor of electrical burning persisted. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that it was not their problem and to take vehicle to a dealer to have the vehicle diagnosed. The contact called frank fletcher Chrysler dealer, located in sherwood ar, where they informed the contact that they would pick up the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 14v634000 (electrical system). The approximate failure mileage was 75,906.
