2 Water Pump problem

Failure Date: 06/16/2006

2000 Chrysler Concorde, 2. 7 liter engine had a engine failure (water pump, causing jump time, causing blown engine) within seconds causing total loss of power brakes, power steering at 70 mph on I-94 at north river road. I was lucky to maintain control of vehicle. I have since discovered the 2. 7 liter engine has had many similar problems due to poor design that causes a buildup of sludge in engine.
