Two problems related to structure have been reported for the 1999 Chrysler LHS. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving down the highway at 65 mph, the cowl molding between the hood and windshield blew off for no apparent reason.
Dash is splitting where air bag goes I bought car oct. 1999 I only had 10,200 miles on it, sits in garage when not driven. I feel this is a safety issue will it deploy accidentally on my passenger for no reason or not deploy at all. I felt it's a mfg. Error and it should be replaced. One service mangerroseville said the 1999 Chrysler lsh dash had a problem with this issue -- it's a $35,000 car. I don't think this should happen. I had taken a extended warranty out but I guess it doesn't cover this problem .
