37 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 04/18/2012

When the gas gauge goes down to a half a tank the gage goes all the way to empty. Very annoying because I have no idea how much gas I really have. Then when I try to fill it up it take about 15 minutes to get $20. 00 worth of gas in the tank. It will only take about 25 cents at a time before the gas pump shutts off and I have to wait a couple seconds for the gas to go down the filler tube. Also I have had problems with the motor mounts. They seem to keep breaking. These problems seem to be all over the internet. My problem is not isolated.

After the repairs, the gear shifter could not be shifted from park. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who advised that the gear shifter had to be replaced. The gear shifter was not replaced. 39 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 12/06/2010

Purchased a used 2007 Chrysler Pacifica (6-speed auto) from Chrysler dealer with around 40k miles. Immediately noticed that the transmission shift points were not what they should be. There were very noticeable bangs when the car shifted gear. Returned car to dealer who stated that there was a service bulletin to reflash shift points. The work was completed and car appeared to shift more normally but still felt some good bumps when shifting. Took car to dealer for second service trip and they stated that motor mounts needed replaced. I searched the internet and found an unending list of identical problems. The motor mounts have failed from 2004 till the present. Something needs to be done about this.

41 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 08/07/2009

The first time I had to have the motor mounts replaced on my 07' Chrysler Pacifica was in 2009. There was an awful almost slamming type noise and the vehicle "jumped" when accelerating. I took the vehicle to the dealership, it was still under warranty at that time and they said the motor mounts were cracked and they would replace them, but couldn't guarantee how long they would last. The mechanic said that it was "an issue" on the Pacifica model as it was a design flaw and he had seen this problem often. Since the first time the motor mounts were found to be cracked in 2009, I have had to replace the motor mounts 2 more time and now they are broke again; totaling 4 times in 7 years!!! this is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable! I have called Chrysler quite a few times in the last 4 years and got nowhere! they could not care less that the consumer has to pay for their "design flaw"! if I had known that I would have the same problem keep repeating, I 100% would not have bought this vehicle! and if I had known that Chrysler would give me an arousing "OH well, too bad for you", I 110% would not have bought from this company! how sad that even after all the money they have made off people buying their products they won't do anything to help! inexcusably disgusting!!.
