2 Brake Sensor problem of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 07/31/2018

On Tuesday 7/31/18, as I was slowing down to turn onto a neighborhood street, the electronic stability control active warning light came on, a warning that lane assist was unavailable flashed on the dashboard, and the blind spot sensors on both side mirrors turned on with a warning message that the blind spot assistance was unavailable. After about an 1/8th of a mile, I slowed to a stop sign and the brakes started to feel tight as if they were locking. The screen on the dashboard went blank and the gauge speedometer was not registering. I was able to make a slow left turn and then an immediate right turn into a driveway, but as I came to a stop the brakes were completely locked up and nothing was working as if the engine had turned off. I had to restart the vehicle twice for the dashboard to come back to normal. Had u64 - reprogram powertrain control module and u50 manual park release recalls performed 7/25/18.

4 Brake Sensor problem of the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 01/25/2017

Since I purchased this in 2008, I have replaced the axle, 2 wheel bearings a few months ago, a few years ago 1 abs sensor was replaced via warranty but they wouldn't replace the other - which went out 2 months later. They knew it was going to. I replaced the transmission 2 years, the fuel pump & catalytic converter last year, just replaced the oil pan gasket 2 months ago, the radiator 2 weeks ago due to coolant lead, and now the water pump is leaking coolant. This is just what I can think of off the top of my head. It has been one problem after the other with this vehicle and I have spent a fortune on it. I can't afford to replace it & my VIN doesn't show up on the recalls.

5 Brake Sensor problem of the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 09/15/2014

On September 15th I was taking my son to school when all of my idiot lights came on and stayed on. Once I got back home and turned the car off I noticed that something was still running. After opening the hood I realized it was my abs system that want shutting off. I was able to disconnect the sensor but have been too fearful to drive it since then. My father ran a code checker and nothing was showing up except the fuel cap (which was replaced but still showing that warning light). He drove the car and noticed that the speedometer wasn't working.

7 Brake Sensor problem of the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 10/04/2010

In the past two years I have had to replace the abs vehicle sensors on my Pacifica three times. . . Even the dealer service tech says this should be a recall.

8 Brake Sensor problem of the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 08/29/2007

Faulty abs and traction control sensor on 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. Both lights are on. Called Chrysler, they say they have not heard any complaints! I am the second owner, but the first sensor was replaced at 18,000. This seems to be widespread, and I am surprised Chrysler is not recalling this, especially since this is also a safety issue. I did a quick search for "abs sensor traction control Chrysler Pacifica" and found quite a few excerpts from websites. I have them in an excel file--I would like to send them to you. Let me know an e-mail address. Updated 09/18/07.
