I was in a accident and the other driver was at fault. My passenger side got hit going 65 and the chevy truck ran into to us failing to slow down to there lane ending and hit my passenger side and the side of the van none of my side air bags went off and she was going full speed when hitting us. I was also seen in the hospital due to being pregnant.

2 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 02/13/2016

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. While driving approximately 80 mph, the transfer case failed and disconnected from the motor. The driver side, steering wheel, and front passenger side air bags deployed with force. There was a white substance that emitted into the interior of the vehicle, which affected the four occupants in the vehicle. The force of the air bag deployment hindered the vision of the driver and front passenger. The driver, front passenger, and two rear passengers were uninjured. The insurance company stated that they would not cover the repair because there was no crash. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided a third party technician who diagnosed the vehicle. Neither the insurance company nor the manufacturer repaired the vehicle. The contact was to take the vehicle to an independent mechanic for further inspection and repair. The failure mileage was not available.

04 Chrysler Pacifica was struck on the passenger side by a semi, as a result of that the Pacifica then struck the guard rail on its drivers side. The impact was great enough to break multiple windows, take a tire completely off its rim, and yet the side airbags did not come out.

4 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 01/30/2007

- the contact owns a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact purchased the vehicle on January 26, 2007. While test driving the vehicle the contact observed the tire pressure and the air bag warning light indicators were illuminated. The dealer stated they needed to be reset, and to schedule an appointment. The contact drove the vehicle for repairs to the dealer, and when the dealer drove the vehicle less than 100 feet, the side/curtain air bags deployed. The contact no longer wanted the vehicle. He spoke with the regional office , which indicated that an engineer may investigate the failure. The vehicle was currently at the dealer.

(1) my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica was involved in a side impact collision. The other vehicle collided in to the rear dirvers side door. The door was impacted at speeds of over 15-20 mph. (2) the concern for me is that side curtain air bags did not deploy in the impact. My friends child was injured with glass cuts to the face and arm. (3) I have filed a complaint with Chrysler #13501933.

7 Side/window Air Bag problem of the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Failure Date: 10/28/2004

2004 Chrysler Pacifica awd with side air bags did not deploy during a collision. Vehicle was struck, by a second vehicle traveling at a higher speed than subject vehicle was moving, broadside. The impact was at 90% to left side of vehicle. Driver door, center post and rear passenger door severely damaged. Rocker panel also severely damaged. Center post entered passenger compartment approximately 5+ inches. Drivers seat damaged. Driver experienced injury to left side of head, shoulder, back, left hand and left ankle. Left calf of leg and whip lash to neck. Driver was wearing seat and shoulder belt at time of collision. Vehicle damage severe and determined to be totaled by insurance company adjuster.
