Front Air Bag Problems of Chrysler Pt Cruiser

On us 23 in michigan, I was at a full stop. I was rear ended by a car driving at approximately 60-70 mph. The impact propelled me into the rear end of another car. Neither my airbag nor the passenger airbag deployed. There were four of us in the car. We have all sustained significant injuries.

Brakes failed on wet pavement and airbags didn't deploy.

: the contact stated while parked and not running, the vehicle was involved in a frontal impact from another vehicle who was traveling an unknown speed. None of the airbags deployed. The contact sustained minor injuries, and a police report was taken. The dealer nor the manufacturer were contacted.

: the contact stated while driving 15 mph the roadway was wet and the vehicle hydroplaned and crashed into the rear of another vehicle. When this occurred ,the air bags deployed the contact's shirt and undergarment caught on fire. The police were contacted to the scene of the accident and helped extinguish the flames. Consumer's vehicle t-boned another vehicle at 40 mph, and neither frontal air bag deployed. Consumer reported no injuries. Manufacturer was notified.

The front passenger air bag not work. Dealer notified, and agreed it was not working, however the warranty had expired.

Consumer vehicle was involved in a front right corner collision at approximately 10mph. The driver's air bag deployed and burned through consumer's jacket to the clothing underneath. Consumer also advised had "singe" marks on going down the side of jacket. Ts.

Clock spring broke in steering column while making a right hand turn.

Vehicle was involved in a side impact on passenger's side, causing passenger's air bag to deploy and drop through grove box, dealer and the manufacturer were notified. Feel free to provide any further information.

Was traveling on the highway about 55mph and noticed that steering wheel and vehicle started shaking. Consumer stated that ridge inside of road inflated two rear tires, causing vehicle to go into a spin/vehicle flipped, and went into a enbankment. Airbags didn't go off, and the driver's side seatbelt didn't hold . The vehicle was totaled.
