One problem related to engine noise has been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Sebring. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Blown head gasket after only around 54,000 miles - mechanic said that the car shouldn't suffer from such problems at such a young age. Chrysler corporation notified but refused to help saying the car is out of warranty. In addition, the car suffers from significant engine noise when idling and the air conditioner just went out. While I understand that the car is out of warranty, I am very disapointed in the quality of Chrysler's product and the company's unwillingness to stand by their automobiles.
