One problem related to transmission fluid leaking has been reported for the 2000 Chrysler Sebring. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle leaking transmission fluid, dealer stated that they tried a new gasket on transmission switch assembly. Leak persisted, dealer stated switch (or valve) was bad but there was a nationwide backorder of at least 10,000 units. I was allowed to take vehicle but made aware to check transmission fluid often. There is no TSB out on this problem even though it is a fairly common problem. Dealer will honor the warranty whent he valve comes in.
