Three problems related to emission control have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Oxygen sensor failed.
Fuel tank has been replaced 3 times; once for leakage and faulty "o" rings. Also gas fumes coming from vehicle. Dealers have repaired problem, but problem returns. Also the fuel emission control canister was replaced. Owners very concerned for safety.
Gas tank vent failed causing fumes to enter vehicle, prior to recall notice.
