Dashboard Failed problems of the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country

Three problems related to dashboard failed have been reported for the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Dashboard Failed problem

Failure Date: 09/20/2011

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the headlights would fail without warning. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the vehicle was taken to a private mechanic who replaced the stalk however, the failure continued to occur. The current mileage was 89,000 and the approximate failure mileage was 90,000. Updated 11/14/11 the consumer also stated the parking lights and dash lights failed as well. The dealer was unable to duplicate the problem. Updated 11/18/11 updated 11/22/11.

2 Dashboard Failed problem

Failure Date: 12/12/2010

My 2005 Chrysler town and country has the gauges go out erratically along with the headlights, interior lights and the radio goes haywire. Chimes are also erratic, this is very distracting while driving. I have heard there is a possibility of the car stopping too.

3 Dashboard Failed problem

Failure Date: 04/19/2006

: the contact stated all the gauges on the dash fail to work intermittently. The dealer was unable to duplicate the problem. Also, the sliding door sensor failed to stop the door when it comes into contact with an obstruction. The dealer indicated the doors operated as designed.
