The front brakes were designed to apply themselves when turning the steering wheel. The brake on the opposite side of the way that the stering wheel is turned is automatically applied when it is being driven. This wears our the brakes and causes a lot of expense keeping brakes repaired. Once we were coming home on the interstate and the brakes got so hot that it melted the wheel cylinder and dumped all the brake fluid out and we had no brakes. We were lucky that this happened as soon as we turned into our yard. If it had happened a few minutes earlier,while we were on the interstate,it could have been a disaster. I have spent a lot of money on this problem, but there is nothing that can be done to fix it.
