1 Battery Dead problem

Failure Date: 09/10/2017

This started about 4 weeks ago, approximately 9/10/2017. The vehicle did not want to start. We were under the impression that the battery was dead. Jumped the car and it started. After that a couple of days later my wife said that the vehicle would just crack over and have the key stuck on the cranking mode. The key was turned back and forth until the vehicle started. After which the vehicle would shut off. She was able to get the car started and drove it home right away. That night it did the same thing to me. I turned the key 3 times until the vehicle started then it shut off all by it self. We decided not to drive the vehicle until we could get it looked at the dealership. I did some research online and found that the previous year Chrysler and Jeep vehicles had a recall for a fuel relay replacement. This leads me to believe that this is the same problem after reading the symptoms. After my reasearch I walked out to see if the vehicle would start. This was Sunday morning. This time the vehicle cranked after turning the key 3-4 times. The vehicle stayed on for 15 minutes, after which it shut off. On Monday morning I did the same procedure and the vehicle stayed on until we had to leave to go to work. It ran for 15+ minutes. Today is Tuesday morning and we are about to see if we can drive it to the dealership. If this is the same issue the previous model vehicles had then I'm concern that the engine may stop while my wife and kids are driving down the road and be in an accident.

2 Battery Dead problem

Failure Date: 01/19/2015

This is the 5th time in less than two weeks!!! how many times is this going to happen? it has already been to Chrysler who somehow can't find anything wrong!! on its way getting towed again back to the dealership. 5 times the battery has died for no apparent cause. Of course I am not over paranoid and go through the trouble every single time I am done driving to turn off the interior lights, turn off the radio wait for every single light to turn off and take pictures of all lights off and guess what . . . Dead? but the battery tested fine according to dealership and found nothing on the scans. When they jump it, lasts for less than 24 hours, when they charge it, lasts for 4 days each time. Wont start, no electrical, nothing turns on, fob don't work. . . . Awesome! hope Chrysler is enjoying footing this bill for towing, labor and rentals every time cause I certainly am not enjoying missing work, endangering the welfare of my children in the middle of winter, being stranded at hospice and every minute so they can tell me they can't find a problem!!!!!.

3 Battery Dead problem

Failure Date: 01/04/2015

The vehicle would not start, no lights, no power, unable to unlock/lock with fob. (nothing was left on in vehicle or plugged in). Fully charged battery to 100%, drove next two days with no problems. Bluetooth stopped working and connecting, buttons failed to respond, power seat on driver stopped working, power slide door on passenger stopped working. Battery died again, this time able to get lights, but not start. Chrysler jumped the vehicle, left running to charge. Drove 5 hours straight home and parked, ensured everything was turned off and locked. Next morning, battery dead again, no lights, power but static sound coming out of all speakers in the car. Chrysler towed car. Ran scans /diagnostics, claim to find no problems but cannot identify what caused static to come out or why other electronical equipment failed. Their claim is they used the only authorized battery scanner for Chrysler which triggered no problems with battery or electronics. . Still in shop again. 3 dead batteries in one week.
