2 Ignition Module problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2019

Having issues with the wireless ignition module. Buttons on the remote either don't work or don't work right. Also associated buttons in the vehicle, either don't work or don't work right. There was s recall on the 2008-2010 models of these same vehicles, for similar problems. There may not be a recall now, but there may be one soon. I can't wait forever on a recall, I'm going to have to get this fixed when I have the cash to do so. Don't know if any other way to deal with it. Thank you, mike.

3 Ignition Module problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2019

Drivers side sliding door door ajar sensed during warm/hot days. While driving door tries to re-latch, lights come on, and chumming is heard continuously throughout the drive. Sometimes the door tries to re-latch when just sitting in the driveway with keys out of the ignition. The local dealershipran a diagnostic with multiple codes: I 121300, b19ed, b2501, b2506, b19e0, b2509, b19cd. They told me to replace the track wire bundle. I replaced the door track wire run with negative results. I've swapped the sliding door motor module and the discrep remains with the drivers side. I've swapped the door wiring logic module and the discrep remains with the drivers door. I've replaced the latch actuator motor and the whole latch actuator assembly with no change to the discrepancy. I believe it to be a wiring issue in the door panel. The door chiming and lights flashing while driving is extremely distracting and if it's a wire issue I don't want it to catch fire. This is an ongoing issue with an unknown fix.

4 Ignition Module problem

Failure Date: 02/09/2015

After almost a month at the dealer, replacing the wireless ignition module twice and the battery. . . Running all possible tests, today they believe the issue is related to the bad tipm. . . My van was not part of the recall for the tipm yet I have the same problem as everyone else. My van dies every 4 days and has been sitting at the dealer for almost a month, I was called 3 times to pick it up after being fixed and it was dead in their parking lot, and died an additional 4 more times in their possession. Like clock work, it dies every 4 days. Let's hope this time they really found it and if they did why was mine not part of this nation wide recall for this issue? car dies, won't start, no power every 4 days.

5 Ignition Module problem

Failure Date: 01/22/2015

This is my third complaint of this issue, and its 7th occurrence. First time at dealership they could not find problem, only tested battery and said it was good and sent me back on my way. Second time at dealership, they think they found the problem and put in an entire new wireless ignition module and two new sets of keys, go to pick it up tonight all *fixed* and its dead. . . Again. . . Same as before. . 7th time in two weeks, third time at Chrysler dealership. Car will not start, no power, no nothing, no attempt. Everything is turned off nightly, all interior lights, cabin lights, radio, nothing plugged in locked and checked and dead in the morning. Why must I keep going through this. How many times am I going to be stranded and sit and wait hours to be towed and go through this over and over again??? this is a safety issue, what if next time I am stranded with my young children? but Chrysler can't find anything/?.
