Rear Suspension Problems of Dodge Avenger

The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Avenger. On several occasions, while driving, the vehicle became bumpy and the rear end spun to the left and right. As a result, the contact temporarily lost control of the vehicle. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the shocks needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 54,000. The VIN was not available.

Rear suspension out of camber. Nothing done to the car to cause the camber to be outside manufacturer specifications. Dealership wants to take vehicle to body shop to repair camber by bending frame of vehicle. Will not cover tires since they are outside the 6000 mile warranty & have not been rotated. Service technician stated there was no evidence of impact marks, etc to cause the issue. Also stated the rear camber was unadjusted on this vehicle.

While traveling at any speed during inclement weather/ wet conditions vehicle is difficult to control due to rear suspension problems. Dealership has not determined a cause for this problem. Please provide any additional information / attachments.
