It was misting rain and the car kept pulling right and then started to go into a skid. I tried to steer to stop skidding and spun around into the ditch and rolled. Only the passenger side curtain air bags and the passenger seat airbag deployed. No airbags deployed on the driver side or from the dash or sterring wheel. The vehicle sustained major damage to the front, sides and top. There had been prior warranty repair to the driver seat airbag by orr Dodge of searcy because the airbag system malfunction warning light had come on in the vehicle.

The tpms warning light came on but tires were fine. At that time the engine would stall at take off and for a few miles after. As for the airbag, when I adjust the drivers seat, the airbag light would come on and stay on during the drive. I checked for recalls on this site and found that both of them were on but when I called the warranty they said that my VIN was not listed but the year make and model was. I took it in and they charged me $100. 00 for diagnostics! they said they fixed it but it still stalls and the light still comes on.

My windshield on the passenger side was severly cracked. Now I'm between a rock and hard place, my insurance says that it may not be covered since I didn't collide with anyone, and I'm over my 36000 miles by 260 miles. Please if you have a Dodge Avenger do not ignore the airbag warning light, I could've killed numerous people that day and by some higher power did not.
