Child seat failed several times.
We have built in child seats in this car. The straps on the car seats do not retract properly, so the seats are unsafe. One seat has been heavily used, the other stopped retracting on first few uses. Worse there is no place to get these seats repaired. Dodge has offered one location, about an hour away. Where the seat could be repaired at standard automotive repair rates. In fact when I called this location they could not do it. Note this means that Dodge is comfortable with two unsafe child seats in this vehicle. Dt.

We own a century model 100297 carseat. The shoulder harness latches in the back on a metal clip. I have on one occassion actually pulled the shoulder harness to adjust and had the harness come right through the seat. It came off of the metal latch behind the seat. Upon closer inspection of this latch, I do not see what is preventing the should harness straps from coming off the metal clip at any given time. . Especially in an accident. Please let me know if there is a way to ensure that they won't. Thank you.
