I was headed to work yesterday morning and before I got to work I heard a loud noice under the hood and smoke starting rolling out of under the hood. I pulled over to the closest intersection to get off highway and discovered oil all over the car and all under the car. I contacted my dealership that I just bought the car through (haven't even made the first payment) and they towed it back to the dealership. Further inspection they said the design of the car how it pulls air through the fender it sucked water up from driving down the highway and hydro locked the motor. I do zero first roads on my vehicles so it's definitely not right for this to happen driving down a highway and throw a rod through the motor. My extended warranty won't cover it nor will my insurance. It's a brand new car. I need help!!.

That the interior door panels had separated from the door frame causing the locking mechanisms to malfunction and the doors would not remain secured. The failure was present on the drive and passenger front door at this time. I have had this car for 5 years and it started the 2nd year that I have owned it. It is getting worse.

My daughter could not get the car to stop, as she was engaging the break to the floor. She is unsure if when she turned cruise control was set, but either way the brake should have turned it off. Then when the pole was hit, all the airbags went off except the passenger lower airbag. I was the passenger and I have a hurt ankle, knee, and hip. Why would all airbags go off except one if the impact was directly in the front of the car? the vehicle was turning when she noticed it would not slow down.

The vehicle was taken to (dupage cdjr 433 e n Ave, glendale heights, IL 60139) for repairs. After the vehicle was returned to the contact he noticed that 75% of the defects wase still visible. The contact attempted to service the vehicle at 5 other Dodge dealers and was denied because the original details were manipulated. The manufacturer was notified of the defects but offered very little assistance. The vehicle is under 1,000 miles and has not been repaired. Tp.

The contact called the lakeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealer (888-687-2501, located at 2875 mall hill dr, lakeland, FL 33810) and was told, by the service adviser, that there was no recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the failure was not a known issue and that there was no recall. The contact was also told that the failure was not covered by the warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000. Fe.

The auxiliary fuel pump fail and leaked into the rear right hand passenger compartment. I have spoken to the dealer and manufacture and no one is willing to help with the very big fire hazard . The leak happens when the car is filled with fuel and the tank has ore the half a tank of fuel.

The vehicle had not been repaired as of yet. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case but was recently closed. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

Tl-the contact oiwns a 2016 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the inside panel of the front passanger side door was peeling up possibly exposing the insside of the door. The contact was concerned if moisture were to get into the insides of the door the ability to close, lock and operate the door might be damaged. The dealer sport durst automotive 4511 durham-chapel hill blvd, durham, nc 27707 (877) 262-3223 stated to bring the vehicle in to see if it could be covered under a warrenty. They stated they could not cover it but to check with a manufacturer. The manufacturer stated they could also could not cover the issue so and referred the contact to file a complaint with NHTSA. The failure mileage was 67,000. Tf.

In a couple year span of Dodge Chargers, the panels on the doors separate from the plastic underneath causing it to lift up where the window goes into the door. On mine specifically it's the drivers side panel and the front passenger side panel. I have seen pictures on forums for Dodge Chargers where it's all of the doors with this issue. This is caused by no fault of the owner but clearly somewhere in the manufacturing of the vehicle either parts or materials weren't made properly. The cost to fix this on my own is around $700 per door panel, so $1,400 for both.

Takata recall. The interior of my front driver and passenger doors are coming apart from the body of the door. Smart Dodge in pine bluff said they have seen it on a few other Dodge Chargers as well. It is a 2016 and I have only had it for a little over a year. The local dealership stated the only way it can be fixed is to replace the inside door panels. If this is happening to other Chargers, should there not be a recall on them? the picture attached is of the driver side. The passenger side is worse.

The vehicle repaired the recurred dash borad rear passenger door panel. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the warranties expired. The failure mileage approximately 32,000. Ck.

Interior, I believe the sun or heat warps the door trim inside and it pops out revealing the inside of the door, near the windows. It's happened to my passenger door and recently to my driver door.

Inside door paneling lifting off making it difficult to lock/ unlock. Being told this is a very common problem with the Dodge Chargers. Very expensive to replace.

There is a popping or cracking structural defect sound that is coming from the driver's side door or pillar between front and rear door. This is while driving normally not really on bumps but when you are on just a regular road. More when the road is uneven or when the body has some twist from uneven pavement. The first ride was with with christian the service advisor at lums driving the vehicle and heard the sound. He made the first appointment to look at it. 7/8/19 vehicle still under full warranty. Lums auto center in warrenton or, tried to do a blind repair by replacing the seatbelt tensioner. It did seem to calm it down but did not work and we have taken it back, a second time and they have stated they could not duplicate the sound. But they did open the door and checked it. 11/1/19 and yet again we are going to take it back again after christian the same service advisor that we have been working with drove with me and heard the sound again. 01/3/20 now the full warranty is over. The problem comes and goes and he states that it will be hard to find?? we do not believe that they are capable of fixing what really seems to be a structural problem. . .

Passenger door interior trim is wrapping and peeling as well as floor trim of the drivers side next to the auto shift . Always maintain my vehicle and kept it clean and something like this happens and I got to pay out of my pocket to get it repaired . My extended warranty doesn't cover it . . This should be under warranty for sure as there should no reason this should be warping like this.

The door panels are coming off. It looks ugly. The integrity of the panels is lifting apart from side of the doors. Car gets used this is occurring because of the heat.

My car was parked on a hit and run on August of 2018. My car was parked on a flood March 2019, my car has repairs covered by the insurance of $19,000 and it's still in the shop. I honestly think that my vehicle is not safe for me to drive.

Interior door panel is separating from the door its self where the door and the panel meets at the top where the window is. This was first noticed on the front passenger door about 3 years ago and is now on all of the doors to some extent. This is causing an opening and gap where fingers could get caught or foreign objects could enter the interior of the door causing possible failure or malfunction of either or both of the doors or windows. This was addressed with the dealer who tried to say it was temperature related (as this is in the south west) and not covered under the extended warranty however, I have seen many posts from all over the country where several years and makes of Dodge vehicles have similar issues.

2 of the 4 bolt heads sheared off of the rear connecting points on the engine cradle. Drivers side time is unknown. Passenger side happened in my driveway when car was coming in to park. See photos. If the passenger side bolt head had sheared off on the road, I would have continued to drive the car. Could this have caused a severe accident while doing the common speed limit of 75mph? then the actual cause of the accident would have been overlooked as the sheared bolt heads would have been contributed to the accident. Cause of failure has been attributed to rust, but I cannot see a 1/2 bolt rusting through in 7 years, even if 5 years were spent in northern ohio. Repairs cost over $3800. 00.
