Brake Electric Antilock Problems of Dodge Charger

Driver states while merging on to highway into traffic and hitting a slippery spot the (tcs) traction control system engaged as normal (throttle was cut back to idle). However, once traction was regained the tcs failed to disengage. The vehicle had to be pulled to side of roadway and shut off. Once restarted the vehicle returned to normal operation. This happened twice to date. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, however the dealer reported that the problem could not be duplicated.

The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Charger. While driving between 2-60 mph, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle would not stop. The contact normally places the vehicle in park or applies the emergency brake. All of the warning indicator lights would illuminate, except the check engine light. The dealer replaced the wheel sensor, but the failure continued. The failure mileage was 8,372 and current mileage was 13,000.

Brakes squeal when pressure is first applied to pedal. Off and on since I bought the car last year. Called dealership and was told that this was common and that some cars do this all the time, it's normal.

Several owners with same model as well as upgraded models, have noticed similar situations at extremely low miles. Brake return spring is also making noise when peddle is depressed and returns to original position.
