While driving, all of a sudden the abs light, power steering light, electrical control message came up, traction control light all came on. For about 15/20 seconds, I had no power steering, and could not brake. Very scary. This happened 3 different times. During one of these times, everything on my dash went black. Then the heat turned on and we couldn’t roll down the windows. Very scary and dangerous. Especially the not being able to brake for any amount of seconds.

Brake light, abs light, and traction control light lit up on dash. Took car to dealership and the issue was diagnosed as a faulty abs module. This is mopar part 68160269ab, which is discontinued. I was also told that there were no after-market options, and that programming a used one might not work. So I have no option to get abs functionality for my car. I am willing to pay for the part and labor to get this repaired, and Dodge is not even giving me the option.

The anti-lock brake module has prematurely failed in the vehicle. The dealership can and will inspect the fault but they will say they are not trained or authorizes to fix the module. I was directed to an abs module rebuilder and was simply told by the rebuilder that they could not fix it due to a computer chip shortage. The problem has been reproduced many times as seen with the ram truck recalls on their anti-lock brake modules. The component has not been inspected. There is active warning lights as shown in the picture below. Ive spun out in the rain multiple times at less than 30mph due to the abs module not activating traction control. It is extremely dangerous.

I was returning home in my electric Dodge Charger daytona from work nearing an intersection when my vehicle's dashboard lit up with multiple warnings and entered "turtle mode" a limited power mode where the car no longer accelerates with the accelerator pedal but instead will slowly increase speed until breaks are applied. After getting the vehicle off the road and restarting the car there were no longer warnings and the accelerator pedal was working again, but I found on the remainder of the drive home that the regenerative breaking did not work in any of the vehicles 3 settings. This greatly alters the vehicles driving dynamics. I was fortunate to be already stopping when this incident occurred and was able to safely move the vehicle out of the motor way, but suddenly losing control of your vehicles acceleration is greatly concerning.
When using adas, the vehicle brake does not remain engaged after the vehicle is stopped, resulting in uncommanded rollback when the car autonomously stops in traffic on a hill. This occurred repeatedly without warning, and with adas remaining fully engaged and unaware of the rollback until driver intervention. In one instance, uncommanded rollback caused a near-miss where the vehicle was only inches from a collision at the time of driver intervention. This issue will ultimately result in collisions, likely injuries, and possible death.
I was sitting at an exit from a store waiting to pull out into an intersection. Full foot on the brake, and I know for certain I wasn't accidentally hitting the accelerator because on the first "jump" I checked to make sure. It lurched through the brakes multiple times bucking like a cammed car would. Then threw all these warning lights, turtle icon came up saying speed limited, and the collision lights came on as well as traction control was disabled. Shut off and wouldn't power back on for a few minutes leaving the entire front half of my car sitting in oncoming traffic. I've had this issue since day one. At first I thought it was from having the seats back in the furthest most position, but after testing its not. One of my friends legs got caught when trying to get out causing him to fall. Another's entire body was pinched because they cant get out in under 5 seconds. . If you have children do not put them in the back if you are having this issue. There is no safety mechanism in place and you have to way for the seat to go back all the way and reset the setback to get it to move forward again. Quickest solution I've found to get someone out in this situation is to allow it to fully adjust back, and manually adjusting the seat forward. I have not been able to charge the vehicle consistently at any stations since purchase in 8/28. I would get nonstop errors, having to un-plug and re-plug in the vehicle every 5-10%, sometimes not even working at all. I've been left stranded with less than 5% left and when I returned to the dealership to get an emergency charge just to get home they called the police on me and trespassed me from their lot. . I've only been able to get it to work at a Tesla Charger once. I've used multiple different adapters from amazon including the dewalt and lectron adapters. The only one that's worked so far is the Charger in easton, MD with the magic dock connector already installed.

In early September 2025, I leased a 2024 Dodge Charger daytona ev. Unfortunately, the vehicle has already been in the dealership service department three separate times since I took delivery. The first two service visits occurred after the vehicle completely bricked and would not turn on. I was informed that the vehicle’s electronic module required updating and that the batteries had repeatedly died. Most recently, the situation has escalated to a significant safety concern. Earlier this week, the vehicle began shaking and intermittently accelerating and decelerating on its own while in operation(I have video proof of this) this behavior poses a serious danger to me and to others on the road. Due to these ongoing issues, I filed a formal complaint with stellantis and was assigned case number [xxx]. I have been working with stellantis representative steve stander; however, communication has been extremely difficult. Unfortunately, mr. Stander has not been responsive to phone calls or emails in a timely manner, which has made resolving this matter challenging. At this time, the vehicle is once again in the shop, leaving me without transportation. During our last discussion, mr. Stander acknowledged that stellantis understands the vehicle is not dependable and offered $10,000 in down payment assistance along with employee pricing on a new stellantis product. However, I currently still owe approximately $3,400 on the lease. Given the serious safety issues and repeated failures of the vehicle, I am requesting stellantis’ assistance in grounding the lease and covering the remaining $3,400 balance so that I may exit this lease. I also previously sent mr. Stander a video clearly showing the vehicle accelerating on its own to document the issue. I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving this matter as quickly as possible. It is urgent that I be able to safely exit this vehicle situation. I just had gotten my 2025 dayton r/t ev and I was on the highway in my first drive…. Enjoying the hell out of my experience. I had driven abt 12 miles. Even got a powershot in when I had a free right away in the highway and man… ?????? im so saddend to share that a car got over on my car and completely swiped the right side, then got over in front of me and slammed on their brakes…. All at 65 mph. Man… my car’s sensors didnt help at all and my airbags didnt deploy. My sensors never detected the car on the right getting close or that it slammed on brakes…. All my sensors are still green in the car, but my abs and other lights are on. Airbags didnt deploy crashing st 65 mph snd I stopped breathing for a few minutes the other driver snd passengers said. All I saw was the csr slam on brakes and then I woke up with 5 cops and 2 ems bombarding me with questions I had no clue to answer as my head was dizzy. Once I got to my senses they asked why my air bags didnt deploy and if it was a 2025 ev how did I get brake checked with security sensors and regen brakes. And I cant answer that only Dodge can… ?? man im devesated. My car is also still registered to Dodge… so when I went to the impound and shiwed them my info they told me I couldnt get the car out even with me showing them my welcoming emails apps etc. So now the car is stuck there. Racking up a crap ton of daily fees. Starting today. And I csnt even get the csr out if I tried. Now my payments. The storage fees. And to fix the vehicle as my deslership didnt add the car they switched me in because the one I signed for had problems to my policy. At 65 mph with the adaptive cruse on, all of a sudden, the fcw light came on and almost rear ended the car in front of me. I lost antilock,cruse, and fcw. I also have less brake pedal. Took to Dodge dealer in emporia KS. Said anti-lock brake hydraulic control unit was bad. Part #68236997aa. Dodge discontinued and no aftermarket replacement. I am probably not the only person with this safety problem.
Unknown/. When press on brake car still moves. Also when put in parked car will move forward or backwards a few inches. Steering wheel does not feel right as if feels not secure when driving. When trying to go in right lane on freeway steering wheel was not all the way responding as if felt like it was loose and not connected to what pairs it’s spose to be. And almost crashed.

I have a Dodge Charger rt 2006 hemi. I was comming off ther highway . After taking the exit ramp I was heading to a red light my breaks failed! I had no breaks at all suddenly causing my car to crash into the car at the light. My car then traveled backwards without breaks. The police did arrive on scene. The guy in other car thought I fell asleep as my car didnt even skid. I had to go in th eambulance and hospital said I had a concussion. I had insurance since buying the Dodge second hand but, due to wrong info my incurance was cancelled. In nh you dont have to have insurance but now im left with my car in need of serios repair!! im devastated. I had no issue to say I was at risk for break issues.

My abs, brake & esc lights all came on at the same time on my dash. Took my car to a reputable mechanic and they told me that my abs module needed to be replaced but they were no longer available. So now I have to drive my car and worry about my brakes locking up if I have to come to a sudden stop for some reason since the anti-lock brakes are not working.

When attempting to apply brakes, the pedal sunk to the floor with no result. On subsequent attempts, the left front brake activated and locked up while there was no apparent effect on the other 3 wheels. The car veered to the left as a result of the one brake being applied, and began to travel down the road at an angle of about 45 degrees. Correction was required to steer out, the brake remained locked up and not responding to the pedal. Automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning systems did not activate and my vehicle collided with the one ahead. Awd seemed to activate just prior to the collision, which assisted in correcting the brake lockup. Inspection of the vehicle seems to indicate electrical issues caused a brake booster fault, and likely caused failure of the emergency braking systems to activate. These issues first appeared the day of the accident, no error messages or trouble codes were present. It appears the braking system is faulty, due to electronic controls, seemingly. The car is available for inspection. The left front rotor is scored deeply and the artifacts on the asphalt indicate that the left front tire was dragging/skidding up to the point of impact.
Bolts the attach the emergency brake cable assembly to the frame undercarriage can become rusted and corroded and can pop out which causes the emergency brake to not function correctly which results in transmission damage, shifting while towing, shifting while vehicle jacked up, and possible parked incline vehicle roll especially if car is not able to shift into park during an emergency.
Brake system seatbelt came out of latch approaching a red light and stopped traffic, applied brakes and no response. Ended up rear ending another vehicle. Resulting in injury to driver of malfunctioning vehicle and possible injuries to other passengers in the other vehicle . Don’t know if the vehicle is available. It was deemed totaled. It’s unkown if there’s been any inspections as of yet. There was some kind of audible notification that occurred when driver applied brakes right before collision.

I have called the dealerships in fresno CA and clovis CA asked them to check out my car because of all the recalls that were done by them I'm having problems with it or had to replace it again. I also told them since it was a recall and they supposedly repaired it I wanted them to check into it to see if the wrong was done because anyone could falsify a document I was turned away from both dealerships. I have receipts for parts I have replaced that were recalled, as diagnostics tests. This has been going on since 2022 one after another and then affects other parts I even asked them to do a software update for the electronic monostable gear they said no.

Abs wiring had a recall and replaced but the abs module is now out air bag had a recall but now the air bag clock spring is out fuel pump had an extended warranty but is now out and fuel pump needs replaced crank shaft main bearing seal needs rplaced for an oil leak but other parts have been replaced for an oil leak within the past month.
The esp bass light and traction control lights and the brake light keeps lighting up on the dash of my 2008 Dodge Charger rt took it to a mechanic shop and told them what was going on replace the wheel speed sensor in the back and the rear axle the brake light no longer lights up but the esp and the traction control light still light up on the car sometimes cannot find the issue or what's going on.

Engine shut off while driving on the street. My safety was at risk as cars behind me almost rear end me and just avoid me as I did not break myself . So I did not have break lights on because engine just shut off not yet made an appointment to have it check not yet , need it to be check by dealer no light no warnings at all.
When I bought the car all brake lights were on. I took it to landers and they diagnosed the problem as a bad abs control module and another part connected to it. I'm unable to use cruise control and my traction control is off as well. The warning lights will occasionally go off but they are usually on. Also the manufacturer has discontinued the parts I need so I can't get them to fix the issues.
