Touchscreen radio is delaminating. The entire vehicle is controlled by the radio. The delamination causes ghost touches on the radio. This causes the radio to make phone calls, turn on/off equipment, blare music. . . Etc. It's extremely distracting to the driver. And you cannot turn it off. You are stuck with this malfunction. This happens at anytime the vehicle is running. When parked or in gear.

While driving down the road, only touching the steering wheel (at 70 mph), the radio changes stations, beeps constantly, & the seat warmers are turned off in the control center. Nobody touched anything. The control center won't quit beeping as if someone is changing the radio station.
The factory halogen projector headlamps are grossly inadequate for night time driving. The beam pattern is very poor, and illumination of signage to the right of the car is non-existent. This presents a very dangerous condition. I have replaced the factory bulbs with higher performance parts to no avail. Increasing the intensity of a bad beam pattern doesn't improve the beam pattern. Nhtsa should investigate the headlamps on the current generation Charger. Overall, NHTSA should adopt the ece beam pattern. Finally, drls should be banned. With no benefit, all they do is raise the cost of a vehicle and cause excessive daytime glare.

Dashboard lights not working anymore. Sometimes it fades in and out and sometimes nothing at all. With the engine, when I 1st start it while cold I'll wait 30 seconds or so and put it in drive and it sounds like it wants to die on my kinda but doesnt. Was told wait til car is warmed up and muffler noise will go away once it warms up. All of this while it is parked in driveway.

While I was driving today all of a sudden the lights went so dim (it's always on the auto setting) then I switched it to the position to the right of it and lights became bright, but when I put it back to auto I couldn't hardly see the speedometer hardly at all the radio screen went dim as well and none of my lights work that all on my mirror above my visors work and the lights don't work in the center top either when you push the buttons. Actually those haven't worked for a really long time. This problem has happened before where my radio actually has gone out completely and I spy mater has gone them dim. But scared me today because it was actually dark out and I couldn't see how fast I was going.
The driver's side low beam will come on then go off. After awhile it comes back on for a few seconds then goes out again. The vehicle can be sitting running or going down the road and will do the same thing.

My head light wont turn on dont know whats wrong.
My headlamps periodically shut off while driving, which results in a potentially dangerous situation. I am told that the electronic control system module regularly malfunctions on these vehicles resulting in a situation where lighting at the front of the vehicle turns off. This condition has happened not only while stationary but also while moving.

Front headlights go out randomly as the vehicle warms up. Appears to be related to the 2011/2012 headlamp recall 12v-042 but my vehicle is not coming up on the notification list. Loss of headlights decreases ability to see and increases the risk of an accident. No dash messages, no computer messages. Lamps work when initially turned on so vehicle hasn't failed any safety inspections. All obvious checks provide no possible reason for this issue.
Headlamp (low beam projection)repeatedly shuts off after few minutes driving. I know that some police vehicles have this problem and they have been recalled. Can no longer use my personal car after sunset. Local dealer will repair but at my expense. This is a big deal safety issue that I shouldn't have to worry about.
Today my car turned off all of a sudden out of no where. I have stated to the dealer for years that it is not normal for a car to say battery saver mode and lights, radio, dash and all electrical devices in a vehicle to turn of or stutter of and on. They said it is normal and that it is my battery. If a car turns on the alternator is supposed to take all the load off of the battery running in the engine nothing else. My car has stuttered multiple time off and in while driving and even almost turned off. This is not safe for driving around, because car could turn off while driving on a highway and I lose all control off the vehicle steering, brakes and accelerating. When I the vehicle turned off today I was stopped at a red light and the car started to stutter and then it just turned off when the green light turned on. I was unable to take a picture today and I was in traffic and it is illegal to drive and use a phone. I have multiple picture from the past but was only able to upload one.

Attempted to start car and nothing happened when start was pushed. Lights and radio worked. Message on panel said press on brake and push start but still nothing happened. The lights on the gear shift began flashing red, the wipers began operation even though they were off. The key fobs would no longer work. I had to have the vehicle towed to a dealer, which stranded me 4 hours from home in 0 degree weather. The dealer could not get to it for 3 days and when they did- it started with no problem and no code errors came up. The dealership actually told me that they think it was due to the extreme cold temperatures. I guess Dodge can only be driven in a warm climate. Now it did it again last night. At least I was only 30 mins from home. I went back this morning and it started right up again but the engine light is on. This time it was 65 degrees. Something is terribly wrong with this vehicle. It seems from searching the internet that a lot of Chargers have this issue but there is no recall on my car to have it repaired.
The driver side lights doesn't stay on. The bulb and fuse was replaced. This is a known issue with Chrysler as to they settled a class action suite with Jeep in 2015. The tipm is bad on the Charger.
When I start the vehicle, the low beams work normally. Within five minutes of lights being on, whether idle or during driving, they will turn off on there own. I am then forced to use high beams in order to have lighting at night.
While driving lights shut off, I switch from auto to on, to turn lights back on, lights flicker slightly as well. Car taken dealership changed car battery, key fog, and shortened wires to liggts. Problem is not fixed.
The driver's side hid low beam will randomly turn off. Upon using the toggle switch to turn both lights off and back to the on position, the failed headlamp will re-illuminate until it fails again. This appears to be an issue with the ballast, not the bulb.
Passenger hid light intermittently shuts off. After a period of the vehicle being shut down and restarted the light will come back o but will shut off again after a few minutes. There is an open recall on the wiring harness, but nothing is showing on my particular vehicle for the recall.
Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Dodge Charger. The contact had explained to the dealership fremont motor rock springs Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram fiat, 1900 foothill blvd, rock springs, wy 82901, (307) 228-2091 that there was an intermittent internal electrical failure. The contact was uncertain as to what was causing the headlamp assemblies to function properly for the low beams which had shorted and failed to illuminate with no warning. The dealer had not provided further testing and diagnosis yet to determine a remedy to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired yet. The manufacturer was notified of the failure to determine a permanent remedy. The approximate failure mileage was 114,000. Dyd.
Several times, the car has stalled while driving. I have had to come to a complete stop, restart the engine and it has gone away. In the last 18 months I have noticed on random occasions, when doing a left turn, it feels like the power steering is no longer working, and this only happens on left turns. Finally, I have some strange electrical issues happening, sometimes my left low beam will work, other days it won't. Now the sound to the speakers have stopped, and then today, I left to go to work, my car won't start, all I have is an illuminated etc light and nothing. I have tried getting Dodge to look at it repeatedly, it is clearly a wiring electrical fault, they keep telling me nothing is under real, and I keep putting money after money into the car, and I think its going to get me hurt one day.
My low beam on the the car had gone out and will do so after having the car on for a few minutes then the light will come back on if I turn them off and it will turn off again. Some times the lights will stay on for hours and other times they turn off within a couple minutes and usually one light goes first and the other shortly after.
There is something going on with the electrical system which causes the instrument cluster to completely shut down and lights to flicker when driving. Usually happens when car heater is on or driving for a long period of time. I have a video of the issue and showed it to cerritos Dodge service department but they didnt acknowledge issue.

The harness on the car is defected and the engine light will not go off on the car.
Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle the rear lights would intermittently fail to illuminate. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer (st. Charles Dodge 1611 e. Main st. St. Charles IL. ) where both notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 45,000. Jft.
The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Charger. While driving 35 mph, the rpm gauges malfunctioned and the contact heard an abnormal popping sound. As a result, the contact lost power steering, brake functionality, the exterior lighting malfunctioned, and the vehicle could not be shifted into park. The various warning indicators illuminated. The prestigue Chrysler dealer was contacted, but did not offer any assistance. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
When my car is in park and engine is off my dashboard lights , shifter light & blower for ac/ heat stay on. Therefore draining the battery.
" takata recall" bought my 2006 Dodge Charger last March had it for 3 days the engine blew. Replaced the engine with a v6 2008 2. 7 with only 57000 . About 6 months after started to get the lightning bolt . Then stalling with the lightning bolt while driving 55mph on the highway and in the city it also does it at stop signs and sometimes wont start back right away. . I have no codes no check engine light no warning. My dash lights and head lights flicker especially while driving. We tried everything to fix this I'm very scared to drive my car anywheres. . Please help figure out whats going on with these problems. We already replaced the computer, gas pedal, sensors and the engine. Mileage on the body 260000 on the second engine 63000.
Led taillights are going out, and cannot be replaced by consumers.
The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the low beams failed to function and shorted out without warning. The dealer replaced the lights, but the low beams shorted out again. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the low beams were replaced again, along with the wiring and wiring harness. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 12v197000 (service brakes, air, electrical system) and 12v042000 (service brakes, hydraulic, electrical system, exterior lighting) although the failures were identical. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The contact was uncertain if replacing the parts with the same oem parts would correct the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 79,097.
The led lights on the rear of the vehicle are very bright at night. Due to the continuous bar with no breaks, it is difficult for others to judge distance and speed. This is very evident when driving in mixed traffic. Vehicles with two separate lights are easier to judge distance and speed differences. This is a known problem with stereo vision limitations at night.
While driving on interstate doing 65 mph (and once while doing 25 mph) my lights, stereo and speedometer went out and car speed decreased. All lights on the dash light up/flash then after a few seconds everything go back to normal. Have happened several times while driving. And on two occasions the power steering fuses had to be replaced because they keep getting blown out. Have had alternator exchanged at last recall. Fearful that vehicle may stop in the line of traffic on the highway! have video of incident as it was happening. No pictures.
