Front Suspension Hub problems of the 2002 Dodge Dakota

Two problems related to front suspension hub have been reported for the 2002 Dodge Dakota. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Suspension Hub problem

Failure Date: 12/01/2015

Front driver side tire and hub assembly completely broke free from the vehicle this is a follow up from my first intial report to Chrysler and also NHTSA phone conversation in which I did a report to both and paid 2500. 00 which I still have receipt of paying to have fixed. . . Father had a 2000 Dodge durango which had the same recall that my didn't have as Chrysler stated. . .

2 Front Suspension Hub problem

Failure Date: 03/14/2007

2002 4-door ram 1500 - 90k miles. Entire driver's side wheel bearing hub assembly came apart and tire fell off. This part is not meant to ever break apart according to 2 independent mechanics. Im very lucky that I wasn't on the expressway commute yet, just pulling out on the road early in the morning.
