There hasn't been an incident at this time, still waiting for the recall part to be fixed. It has been over 10 months since I received the safety recall notice about the transmission shift cable and want to know when it will be fixed. I have called both the [xxx] number and the dealer repeatly. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 25v674000 (power train); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
Manufacture has not provided a remedy for shift cable recall that was announced October 2025…it is now may 2026.
