: the contact stated the vehicle was steering poorly and therefore, it was taken to a local dealer. The dealer determined the rack was broken and it was replaced. Now, while driving 3mph the wheels tow in and the tie rods move to the center of the rack. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where the mechanic was unable to determine if the problem was caused by a defective design or by the prior replacement of the rack and pinion.
