First the light turn on of the air bag (movement). In other night when I turn on the alarm it's start to activate on panic mode then I turn off the alarm wait for a various minutes and activate again (off), but in less than a minute start to be in panic mode. In other day (movement), says that was an open door and the locks start to put it many times, any of the doors wasn't open (movement). In the same day at night it's start to turn on/turn off the inside lights, put the locks, and the message of a door it's was open (movement). The alarm was on panic mode twice and the light's was againg turn on/turn off (off). The batterie, every time that I try to turn on the vehicule I need a booster to charge it again. The mechanics says that the alternator and the batterie are in good conditions has the voltage that needs to be operating. I put a new batterie but the problem persist. And turn on the light of other thing on the panel.
Car does not start after being parked - sometimes when turned off for a short time (like getting gasoline), sometimes at the end of a work day or overnight. The car will sometimes start on its own after leaving it alone for more than a few hours. Car has been into shop several times and has had the following done: changed to new battery 2x, checked alternator, ran computer diagnostic. This has happened 4 times in the past years. The car "clicks" one time, power windows and radio still work. We are afraid this will keep happening.
Approximately one month after purchase, the vehicle would not crank one morning. I had to call someone to jump the vehicle off. Vehicle cranked and ran without incident for approximately two days. Third morning, it had to be jumped again. Had the battery and alternator checked. Mechanic said the battery was not a heavy enough battery. So, I bought a new battery. Approximately 3 weeks later, same scenario. Have contacted the dealership that sold me the car, Dodge, and even checked online. Dealer and Dodge claim that no complaints of this nature have been made. However, my online search turned up several owners that have/are experiencing the same problem. There is a problem in the electrical system somewhere or the battery wouldn't be draining overnight, even after the vehicle is used long enough for the battery to stay charged by the vehicle's charging system. Sometimes the battery drains after sitting only a couple of hours.
Let it be noted that after the r03 recall all the following issues started occurring. First incident: driving about 30mph every light on the dashboard except the engine light illuminated, gauges spun around and back and forth, then stopped all together, the rmp's revved up to 5ooo and the accelerator went to the floor with no action as if the car was off. There was a obviuous loss of power, the car was hesitating like it wanted to stall out, and the vehicle once stopped did not start again until being jumped. Once started, none of the light were on except, oddly now, the engine light which threw codes po0562 & po700. The battery read 12. 2v on the diagnostic while off then 14. 4 when the car was started(after being jumped for 1 minute only). 5 minutes into the drive and boom, the demon took over the car again but now the car would not go pst maybe 7mph, again in accelerator power,no shifting, all power still on in the car, but seems low on power. Once turned off, it would not start but still had power. Again, got jumped, diagnostic, and same codes, alternator fine, battery fine, seems to be getting poor connection. Started 2 days later and loud, unstable idle, won't switch gears seems as if its on but running off of stored power. Dealer now says only code is po622. Symptoms are seeming to be the tipm all over again. Again, none of this started until I took it to Dodge to have the ro3 recall repaired. The key since also does not register at times, will say "mismatch key" on dashboard, all sensors flash then go away such as (gascap, door ajar, check engine light would ignite with no code, gate, key), wouldn't turn over, frequent :dead battery" then starts without jump few minutes later. Overtime the car will act possessed with all lights on is after hitting a bump, again Chrysler dealer recall department is stating tipm, dewlap will not check that while diagnosing. Help!.
At 11k miles I had to have front brakes replaced. Shortly after that my back brakes had to be replaced and my back rotors were warped. The dealer told me I had exceeded the 12k manufacturer warranty and had to pay for repair. After researching consumer reviews and having read of numerous complaints on brakes / rotors I sent a letter to Chrysler along with complaints. I did not receive any letter, not a phone call, just a check for repayment of brake work. Since then I have had my censor light come on twice for the tires and up until now, after reading from this website was I unaware this vehicle appears to have problems with tires as well. My vehicle is currently in the shop. I had taken in twice for a noise that was coming from the front passenger side. The first time I was told they could not find anything. The 2nd I was told it was a computer chip that needed adjusting and it would be "fine". It wasn't fine. The noise got worse. My power locks on driver door and my remote key would not work. I took my vehicle in for both the noise and the power locks/key not working. I have been without a vehicle since Monday (it is Friday) and it is due to having to replace a wiring system and alternator. An alternator? my vehicle has 25k miles!! please help. . . . . There are almost 200 complaints for all the same problems I am having. This is not right.
