While driving home one night on a dry 2 lane rural road, traveling in a 55 mph zone at only 45 mph, I swerved to miss a deer standing in the road in my lane. There was an oncoming car and I swerved back into my lane and the car fish tailed causing a counter action on my part and I hit the concrete bridge with a glancing blow, skidded sideways on two wheels on the bridge and almost flipped over. After the initial impact I realized that the airbags did not deploy. After a body shop inspected the car they discovered that the sensor had been hit and should have deployed the airbags. I am now suffering from whiplash and back strain. The car was totaled. I am now pursuing action against Dodge.

Parking my 2000 Dodge Neon off an ashphalt road onto gravel drive way. I was parking at normal safe speed, as I put the car into park my air bag light came on, and the car shut off. Now the horn will not blow, and steering is tighter than normal. I called the dealership where I purchased the car, and they told me it sounded like the "clock spring", and was not hazadarous to drive. I noticed there is a recall on another model of Dodge van for the same part, why isn't there been one for Neon? why is this not considered a safety hazaroud? now if I have to pay out of pockect expense to repair this spring before I can even get this inspected due to the horn not properly working.

It would be next to impossible to describe each problem. All problems that I have listed are completely true. I can say with complete certainty that the problems occurred after the 75000 mile waranty I bought was over with the exception of the egr valve which the dealer replaced just to have it fail again. Also the dealer replaced the O2 sensor which again is failing again. The horn/airbag sensor was also replaced by the dealer. Please note that all repaires by the dealer was (a) before the waranty had expired, and (b) I had to call Chrysler and complain just to have those things fixed. I have had the car checked by an authorized dealer so I know these problems to exist. The dealer, instead of fixing my car, which they won't do, they tried to get me to trade it in on another new vehicle. My wife and I could not be more dissatisfied with a "new car" than we are with this one. Believe me, if we were to have known about this car's track record, we would have never have purchased it. I guess thats all I have, thank you. R ( dot number: tire size: p1856014 ).

I see where the air bag impact sensor is on the recall list you have provided, but I reported it also. My number one complaint is the way my vehicle and several other vehicles the same color as mine is peeling. My vehicle color is lapis blue and the paint is peeling all over. I've took it to three Dodge dealers, and no one wants to take the responsibility for the paint peeling. When the vehicle first started peeling about a year after I had it, I took it to archer Dodge in houston, TX. And I was sold some lapis blue touch-up paint by one of the service agents, and from that point my vehicle continued to peel , and to this date the paint peeling is unbelieveable. I was told that it's peeling due to the manufacturer's error. Like I said there are several lapis blue Dodge Neons that are peeling, and I do have at least ten other license plates numbers to the other lapis blue Neons that are peeling. Here it is I'm paying a car note for a vehicle that looks horrible and it takes away from the value of the vehicle. This isn't fair to the consumers, being that this paint peeling is due to error of the manufacturer. The peeling of the paint has nothing to do with the mileage neither, as some are trying to connect together. I've seen older model vehicles that still have their original paint job , and there's no peeling at all. The paint peeling will speak for itself. I also was told at one of the dealer's I took my vehicle to that they could get the vehicle painted, but that I would have to pay half the cost, and there's no way myself consumers have to pay for something that's not directly our faults. This is a problem that the Chrysler corporation should have addressed two years ago. Consumers should have to pay anything for something that we had no control over or r.
The airbag light will blink on while driving down the road, and the car also has an oil leak.
Consumer called complaining about having problems with the air bag light on the vehicle panel. Dealer has been contacted and vehicle has been taken to the dealer about 5 to 7 times and problem still there. Mr.
