2007 Dodge Nitro. Consumer states problem with vehicle gas tank
the dealer informed the consumer the gas tank was most likely installed already broken or improperly. Thus, when filling the tank, the air differential inside the tank that forced the pump to shut off automatically did not register due to the defect. The consumer stated on several occasions, the tank has overflowed. The consumer was informed, the entire tank would have to be replaced.
