One problem related to axle shaft has been reported for the 1996 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front end misalignment. In addition, rear axle seals/axle bearings/steering drag:link/front brake calipers/rotors and pads/rear brake shoes and drums and rear brake cylinders and brake vacuum booster failed/replaced.
