Two problems related to speed control linkage have been reported for the 1996 Dodge RAM. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When vehicle was put in drive it suddenly accelerated, causing a collision, resulting in minor injuries to driver. Dealer has not been notified.
Replace missing bolt on throttle linkage were it bolts to fuel pump, reinstall drive shaft, run and check engine.
