Side/window Air Bag Problems of Dodge RAM

I had a car wreck in a 4 month old 2011 Ram 1500 4 wd quad cab on oct 3 rd 2011, I was pushed into a metal guard rail and concrete wall at 70 mph, the fromt passenger wheel broke compltey off and both front side were impacted hard enough to bed the frame on both sides, no brakes before or after impact, I did habe my seat belt on, none of the front or side air bags deployed at any time. The car that hit me had sull air bag deplyment. I just had the truck into the dealer for an oil change at 17k miles and tire roation which told me "quote" this truck has several recalls that were not mailed out to the owners". They did not tell me what the recalls were they only said that they chaged the oil and roated the tires and checked the coumputer for "issues".

The air bags on the driver and passenger sides did not deploy. This happened on September 28, 2005. Contacted the manufacturer, there was no forewarning , and the airbag warning light was not on prior to the crash. This was a frontal impact, it totaled both vehicles involved.

The caller's vehicle was involved in a rollover accident while going 45 mph. The vehicle hit a bump in the road. When the caller lost control of vehicle he overcorrected and rolled over. Upon impact, both driver's side and passenger's side air bags did not deploy. The caller was slightly injured. Dealer and manufacturer have not been contacted yet.

On 08-21-01 our truck was in for repairs to the steering column. At that time we asked the service representative if there was a recall on the driver side air bag and they said no. I saw on the news about 2 months ago that there was a recall on the 2000 Dodge Ram quad cab. The abs did not work because we slid about 70 to 100 feet. We did go to the place the truck was purchased and told them that the air bags nor did the abs work they had no comment. I want someone to investigate and find out if the service department or the manufacturer is responsible for these things not working.

30mph, headon crash into steel stationary pole, neither driver nor passenger side airbags deployed. Driver sustained head/ neck back/ arm and knee injuries. Police noted neither air bag deployed and instructed us to contact the manufacture. Both paramedics and firefighters noted failure of airbags and said driver would not have sustained his head injury had they deployed. Contact with Chrysler Dodge; they sent rep to check truck. Two weeks later Chrysler Dodge sent us a letter stating the air bags functioned as they were supposed to, that they were in functioning order that their was no failure on their products (truck) part. A local Dodge dealer, sales manager told me on the phone that Dodge pu airbags should deploy at "10 mph" in a headon crash, stationary object. He also stated after details of the accident were given to him, "that never should have happened" (that the airbags didn't deploy). Please help us, Chrysler Dodge is taking no responsibility. Consumer was traveling about 70mph on highway and fainted at wheel. He hit side rail on highway and debris along the way. Upon impact, drivers side airbag didn't deploy.

In a head-on collision at 65 mph, the driver side airbags did not deploy. The manufacturer was contacted about this non-deployment and responded, in part, that impact was not sufficient enough to cause air bag deployment and that by not deploying, the manufacturer feels the vehicle responded properly in this particular accident. It seems that in an accident at this high speed, the airbags should deploy and if this isn't sufficient enough speed for the manufacturer, why do they install the bags in the first place and make the air bag safety feature a big part of the basis for consumers buying a vehicle.

While driving at 65 mph vehicle crashed into the rear of a Dodge Ram 2500, and there was no deployment of driver's side/ or passenger's side air bags. Truck was totalled.

Consumer was traveling about 65mph when another vehicle veered into consumer's vehicle. Consumer lost control, and hit another vehicle. Upon impact, driver side airbag didn'tgo off.

Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision of 35 mph, and driver's side air bag failed to deploy. Passenger's side air bag was turned off. Dealer / manufacturer notified.

On April 12 I was involved in an accident in which I rearended a car in front of me. Approximate speed was 20 mph. There is extensive front end damage and the back window of the blazer in front of us busted out, but neither the driver or passenger side airbags in my truck deployed.

Driver was pulling into parking space when driver's side airbag deployed, causing injuires. There was no impact to vehicle.

Vehicle was hit by another car on the front. The other vehicle was traveling at about 50 to 60mph. Driver's side airbag deployed, and driver's sweat pants caught on fire. Drive rhad two pairs of sweat pants on. Fire burned a big hole through the first pair, and singed the second pair of pants. If drive rwould not have had on two pairs of pants, he would have been burned. Vehicle has not been looked at by anyone.

When driver tried to avoid hitting a deer , he lost control of the truck and crashed into a tree head-on. There was no deployment of the driver's side or passenger's side air bags . Damages will be estimated by insurance company. Please provide any further information.

While driving at 35 mph attempted to avoid an accident and ran into a telephone pole. Upon impact, driver side air bag didn't deploy.

The vehicle hit a power pole head-on at about 45 mph, and neither driver's side nor passenger's side airbags deployed. Dealer has not seen.

While making a turn driver's side and passenger's side air bags deployed for no reason. Driver was unjured on both hands. Skin was scraped from knucles and had numbness for 48 hours.

When vehicle was involved in a collision going about (70)-(75) the whole front end was damaged, there was no deployment of driver's side air bag. Vehicle was totalled.

When truck was involved in a crash, there was no deployment of the driver's side air bag, the frame was bent in 5 different places.
