One tire failed due to a side wall blister and the other failed from driving over rough stones. Neither should have happened on a truck tire. Tire size space would not recieve all numbers. They are ap p245/75r 16 m+s.
This is a "load range e" goodyear tire problem. At 30081, 30805, 35213, and 38060 miles one each of the original equipment tires failed due to sidewall separation and was replaced at varying charges by goodyear. Now, at about 50,000 miles, one of the replacement tires has failed for the same reason. Goodyear is giving me a "run around" as has been the case in all previous occurances, variously claiming that the tire is "no longer avaailable" "on backorder" "no longer manufactured" "not adjustable" etc. It has now been two weeks since the last failure was shown to goodyear, and they claim not to be able to locate a replacement. I have complete documentation of each of these situations, dealer names and locations, and am ready to assist you in whatever way is appropriate. (dot number: unknown tiresize: lt24575r16).
Belt separated from tire. Sidewalls was shredded. (tiresize: p225/75r16).
Goodyear, wrangler, p265/75r16 , dot#4b73d5dr1900 sidewall separation on front passenger's side. Consumer was driving at highway speed when separation occurred. Tires had less than 20,000 miles on them.
1/2 in from the rim the tire looks like sun rot as well as all the way around the sidewall, it is cracked and splitting aon the front and back tire, my mechanic said that this is very unsafe and if the tire gets hot the front and back will blow out, these tires only have 26000 miles on them, I haul a horse trail and a camper and am very concered about a blow out , while hauling a load. Both techs that looked at these tires said that the cracking and splitting is not right? can you give me advice to help ??.
