1 Warning Light On problem

Failure Date: 10/10/2017

Takata recalls. On 10/05/2016 took my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 into gerry wood auto group, salisbury, nc, to replace a recalled air bag along with additional work. 10/07/2026 vehicle was return ed to me. 10/05 1017 took my vehicle back to gerry wood because the warning airinf air bag light was on. A check found the squib circuit and air bag shorted. 10/09/2017 returned my vehicle because the warning light was coming on and 10/10/2017 the vehicle was returned to me. I was told if the condition continued the shop would have to replace the occupant restraint controller (orc). I was also told that I would have to pay for the replacement of the orc. Never had a problem with the orc until the mechanics replaced the air bag. Any problem with the air bag that were not a problem prior to the mechanics replacing the part should be the responsibility of gerry wood dealership. Please adivise huber r. Ijames sgmrete9@gmail.
